The Penny Wars Contest will run from March 16th to March 20th, 2020.
+ Each school will choose a non-profit organization in their town they want to raise money for.
+ Each school will have a bucket (either in the front of the school or in each classroom) to collect the pennies in. Students bring in pennies all week and place in these buckets.
+ On Friday, March 20th, the totals will be given via email to the Mission Fat Hearts team for review.
+ The winner of the Penny War will be announced on Saturday, March 21st on the Mission Fat Hearts Facebook Page.
Every school that enters will be Thanked on our Facebook Pages, along with the amount they raised for their specific charity, and what charity they are donating to. Every school that registers will be a winner because they will be donating back into their community. They will also receive an autographed copy of both Mission Fat Hearts books for their libraries.
THE GRAND PRIZE
The school that raises the most money during this week will have the honor of their school name appearing in our upcoming animated film, along with a digital copy of Mission Fat Hearts: The Movie, and signed copies of both of our Mission Fat Hearts books for their library. They will also have a video conference with Rebecca Yee, the producer of the movie and author/illustrator of The Adventures of Pookie: Mission Fat Hearts.
Below is the registration form to register your school. Your school must be registered before March 16th, 2020 to be eligible for the grand prize.
Once you are registered, you will receive an email with a flyer you can print out to send home with your students, as well as further information for the contest.
Our goal in holding this Penny Wars contest is to spread love and kindness by getting your school involved in helping your community in an easy way.
